AH, he seems to be focusing on the fact that WP burns clothes and skin; the RAI documentary (which Monbiot called a turkey) alleged that it leaves clothes intact. Go figure.

Well, onemore thing. Someone in an earlier comment, perhaps Raphael, casted doubt on your report of the White Phosphorus being used. He had a link to a right wing nut job site that argued, essentially, that the claims were bunk because the people in the initial Italian documentary were all anti-war, including the soldier...In other words: Report in part made by someone who served in the war and is now against it; ergo, report untrue.

I wonder what that site is saying now that the Pentagon admits it? Perhaps a reevaluation of its methods of assessing the veracity of what \"antiwar\" soldiers say?

Ha. This is Bush\'s America, so it doesn\'t matter--the crazies will believe their fantasies till the rapture comes from on high, or wherever it comes from.

Here's why...When the story breaks, emotions run high. If you admit you did it right then, there's a greater chance of an angry populace demanding action to be taken. If you admit it after say a week or two, people will have forgotten about it. Then, it will be safe to confess since the short American attention span will already have moved on to hotter issues like who is the sexiest man alive.
