If you do not want your dirty laundry aired abroad, please take urgent measures to wash it at home by repealing the Hudood Ordinance, reforming legislation on rape, enacting laws on domestic violence, effectively implementing laws on violence against women, and creating other systems and mechanisms that ensure women access to justice, rehabilitation and protection. The hudood ordinance is an issue at the heart of all evil of women’s rights in Pakistan, the great leader who is preaching enlightened moderation should repeal it at once but I guess his enlightenment is like Pakistan’s electric company WAPDA which keeps the whole country in the dark half the time.

Well said! If the general feels so uncomfortable facing a poor image of Pakistan abroad, he needs to do something about it rather than trying to silence the victims; I mean, he is behaving like an ostrich, hoping that the if others cannot see the issue, it is not there…
