I have a call to arms for bloggers everywhere: Google bomb President Musharraf. Here’s what you need to do. Create a hyperlink to President Musharraf’s web page — http://www.presidentofpakistan.gov.pk — and put insensitive jerk in the text.
The HTML source should look like this:
<a href="http://www.presidentofpakistan.gov.pk">insensitive jerk</a>
Like so: insensitive jerk
What’s the big idea, you ask? The theory is that if enough people do this, searching for “insensitive jerk” on Google will lead to, well, insensitive jerk. Why do I think President Musharraf is an insensitive jerk? I present Exhibits A, B and C.
I haven’t done this before but I have it on good authority that it should work.
Update: One more thing: once you’ve made the -ahem- necessary arrangements, comment or trackback to this post so we can have an estimate of the effort required for a successful Google bomb.
