I am bit late on this but anyways here is my two cent worth:
You see Indian muslims have much more freedom in this “secular” country of ours than a Pakistani in a muslim country. This is why our Mullas dared to issue the fatwa.

I think the fatwa was grossly overrated (can’t blame the govt. for giving Sania Mirza security obviously), and it was from some previously unheard of alim who promptly became rather heard of…

…and I’d thought Carla Khan was a Brit, no? Am I wrong? Regardless, I agree with the sentiment: Go Carla!
